A well thought out plugin that offers several layout options, including Masonry. It is practical and very well thought out, you can tell it was a photographer who built it. It is also important to note that this plugin works both as a Gutenberg block and with the classic “shortcode” gallery.

Options for this layouts can be managed from a general settings page, outside the block editor. I am a bit ambivalent about this, it makes sense but feels a bit too old school and may make it hard for new users to find these settings.

The plugins is part of a set of plugins by the same author, I find this approach nice & friendly.

And this is what the plugins looks like in action using the “Masonry” option:

Hello Alvaro!
I’m the co-author of this plugin, and I was really happy to read your review! Thank you very much for the kind words!
Concerning the settings in the dashboard, I’d like to point out that this is only the “default” settings for each layout, they are later editable for each block directly in Gutenberg for a gallery-per-gallery customization, it might not be super clear though, so thank you for the feedback! We will try to make it easier to understand 🙂
Best regards,
Thomas
Thank YOU Thomas for creating one of the best gallery blocks around! Thank you also for pointing out how gallery styles can be updated on a per-block basis, as well as in the general settings. I was aware of this but maybe it was not clear in my review. Regards!
